Hello there! I'm Conor, a seasoned business leader and storyteller who specializes in building problem-solving teams and bringing cutting-edge AI technology to market.
Currently, I serve as Head of Developer Awareness at Galileo, a Series B AI observability and evaluation startup that helps enterprises productionize AI agents. As employee #40, I lead our marketing, guide developer community strategy, and host the Chain of Thought podcast, where we demystify AI for builders and explore the practical challenges of putting GenAI into production. Our weekly conversations with industry leaders from companies like NVIDIA< Google, Databricks, Cohere, and Weaviate dive deep into enterprise AI adoption, trust layers, and the evolution from POCs to production-ready AI applications.
Before joining Galileo, I built and led marketing teams at AI code review and engineering productivity startup LinearB, where I built and co-hosted the popular Dev Interrupted Podcast for engineering executives, growing the audience from 0 to 19,000+ subscribers. I've also carved my expertise through roles at Microsoft as a Senior Content Strategist, built the content marketing practice at boutique consulting firm Olive & Goose, and embarked on an entrepreneurial journey by founding my own company. These experiences, including the challenges of my own founding journey, taught me invaluable lessons about team building, strategic positioning, and the importance of clear communication that continue to inform my leadership approach today.
I took a non-traditional path into tech. As a teen, I dabbled in web development while running large-scale online gaming communities, before kicking off my career in the electrifying world of political organizing and campaign management. These foundational years instilled an appreciation for battle-tested technology, authentic storytelling, and the profound impact of empowered, high-performing teams. Throughout my career, I've extended my expertise to notable startups such as Ridwell and advised leaders, including Representative Pramila Jayapal(D-WA), while building content practices that have generated millions in new revenue and hundreds of millions of views.
My writing and thought leadership have appeared on numerous platforms, with features in The New York Times, ABC News, Vox, and the Seattle Times, to name a few. With over 100,000 published words and growing LinkedIn and Twitter audiences, I focus on the intersection of AI development, developer experience, and building trustworthy AI systems for production use.
A proud alumnus of the University of Washington, I now call Tumwater, WA, home, where I spend quality time with my wife Katherine, and our three cats, Sophie, Penelope, and Cleo. When I'm not talking shop, you can find me immersed in the expansive universes of Twilight Imperium and Stellaris, writing about technology and business dynamics, or grooving to the rhythmic beats of drum and bass.
